Alan coaches leaders of service-led organisations to deliver values-driven service for sustainable performance, globally and in UK.  He thrives on leading the transformation of service, culture and behaviour and has a deep interest in the power of events to inspire people.

Alan draws on a rare mix of extensive strategy, operations, general management and consulting experience to help leaders turn creative strategic thinking into sustainable, operational practice.  

He created the 31Practices approach to help organisations release the power of their values - projects have delivered measurable balanced scorecard impact and received industry recognition.

Alan started his career in events going on to become Conference and Events Director, London InterContinental, General Manager, The Brewery and Managing Director, Hanbury Manor.  He is a published author and speaker, a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, a past President of the Meetings Industry Association, a Board member of BQF, a Steering Group member of UK Values Alliance and Founder of the Global Values Alliance.
