Account Director, Patch Media
Mathew Beech is an Account Director at event industry marketing and comms agency Patch. Mathew’s clients include everything from event insurance providers, to aeronautical conferences, to Royal Palaces and disused power stations. With 10 year’s event industry marketing experience he’s a specialist in strategy, media relations, social media and digital marketing and has Google certification in analytics. Some of his recent achievements include getting an ageing website with 40,000 unaddressed technical SEO errors ranking on page one for ‘West London Conference Venue’ and generating more social media impressions in his first 48 hours running an account than the client had for two years before.
Before working at Patch, Mathew was Head of Marketing for a leisure group that owned a business conference centre, a night club, bar and student accommodation. Prior to that he was Brand Manager for the World Architecture Festival. Mathew began his career at venue finder Zibrant and established his marketing career working for event producers Terrapinn and Aspermont. His marketing skills combined with his experience in different areas of the industry means he not only knows how to attract potential buyers, he knows what it takes to make them a client.
