Carsten Pleiser is the CEO of the Event Tech Tribe, a carefully curated, infinitely innovative family of best-in-craft B2B event technologies that have chosen to work together technically, but more important to collaborate on client level. More than a collaboration, the interdependent team has brought together similarly minded companies and built a way of working that puts the customer first. Carsten has a long 10 years+ history in the event tech space starting his first gig at event tech startup amiando/XING Events in Munich, Germany. As a qualified digital marketer, self-taught web developer, and with his deep interest in (meeting) design, Carsten is able to cut through the noise and approach event tech solutions with the software user and attendee in mind. Carsten lives in Caversham, Berkshire, together with his wife and one year old baby boy Sidney-Kristian. When not online or looking after little one, you can find Carsten sailing, golfing or lifting barbells.

Rebecca has been producing events for the non-profit sector for 15 years, working in events teams for top 100 UK charities such as The Children’s Society, Sparks and Great Ormond Street Hospital, and raising over £25m during that time. She was one of the founding members and is former Chair of the Charity Sector Special Events Forum, a free platform for sharing best practice and expertise, now with over 500 members. Rebecca set up Coveted Events to deliver high profile fundraising events and international conferences for charities and foundations, delivering authentic and content-led experiences, from intimate dinners at Buckingham Palace to 2,000-delegate international conferences. Established in 2014, alongside delivering the events portfolio for Ark and BAFTA, the team’s client list includes the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, Garfield Weston Foundation, Global Schools Forum, Grassroot Soccer, The Royal Foundation, Sohn Foundation, Ubuntu Pathways, Unicef UK and Wellbeing of Women.

Ken has worked on a number of high profile events including the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the Tour De France. He is a former Communications Director at Visit London and has worked in tourism and hospitality for many years. He is also an experienced professional coach and mentor.

Kieran is responsible for the management of all client accounts across Slingshot Sponsorship’s portfolio and leads the strategy & sales phase through to the delivery and management of successful sponsorship activation. With a focus on creating ground-breaking partnerships with Slingshot’s rights holder clients – Kieran has worked to drive the true commercial potential of sponsorship with a number of properties including sports teams, charitable causes, business conferences, unique events, entertainment events, digital applications and venues. A regular contributor to Slingshot Sponsorship’s external communications, Kieran has a strong background in partnerships where he initially made his mark in the marketing & sponsorship department of his home town rugby club, Worcester Warriors, supporting commercial activity as the team rose into the Premiership. Kieran then braved the big smoke and broke into the agency world at Simbiotik, working across multiple brand accounts with a focus on growth and sustainability through collaboration with complementary, non-competing, marketing partners.
